The future success of health care management rests on the availability of qualified candidates. Increasing the role of minorities in health care management is becoming a critical factor in providing quality and safe healthcare for our communities.

As a part of its mission, The Institute is committed to increasing the number of people of color in health services administration to better reflect the increasingly diverse communities they serve, and to improve opportunities for professionals already in the health care field.

Since its inception in, 1992, the Institute and its partners have provided over 120,000 in scholarships to minority graduate students enrolled in accredited health care management and service programs throughout theUnited States. To support the educational development of healthcare leaders, The Institute continues to provide scholarship opportunities.
