Benchmarking Survey - The Benchmarking Survey for U.S. Hospitals - members are notified first for participation in the 2015- 2016 survey. Priority access is provided to information, case studies and individual reports related to the survey and subsequent survey results.
- Member Directory - An online innovative directory that enhances opportunities for member-to-member networking and includes the ability to search by city, organization, credentials and more.
Learning Moments - A series of Case Studies designed to provide members with strong examples of diversity management, cultural and linguistic competence in health care.
Diversity Dialogues - Our popular series of free educational webinars featuring nationally and renowned speakers on topics of pressing concern in health care, specifically disparities reduction, cultural competency and diversity (Diversity Dialogues are normally $99 per session for non-members). Based on member feedback, Diversity Dialogue participants receive Continuing Education Credit (CEU).
One-on-One Advisory Services - Technical, one-on-one assistance is offered at a discounted rate on strategic planning, language assistance programs, best practices and other diversity management and cultural competency-related subjects. This service is available exclusively to Institute members.
Unlimited Career Center Usage - The Institute's online job and resume database links health care employers and diverse job candidates. Members may post unlimited positions, an unlimited number of times. Assistance with some executive searches is provided.
National Leadership and Education Conference and Symposiums - Our conferences and symposiums bring together health care leaders and diversity practitioners to tap into state-of-the art thinking on diversity management. Symposium locations and dates will be announced shortly.
Minority Trustee Candidate Registry - Our online database contains information for hundreds of qualified individuals from various racial, ethnic and cultural backgrounds. This database is the only one of it's kind for diversified trustee candidates. As a member, we can suggest potential candidates based on your requests.
American Leadership Council - Opportunity to become a member of the Institute's advisory council , which brings the most advanced diversity practitioners from around the country in health care together to develop standards of practice and share information about new initiatives.
Summer Enrichment Program - This popular program connects you with minority MHA graduates from schools in your area, to complete a 10 week internship within your hospital or medical center. Many of our membership hospitals use this program as their pipeline for meeting and recruiting bright, young minority staff.
