Dallas Regional Symposium - March 4, 2015




The Institute for Diversity's Dallas benchmarking symposium on March 4, 2015 provided an opportunity for leaders at Texas hospitals recognized as top performers in "Diversity and Disparities: A Benchmark Study of U.S. Hospitals" to share insights into disparities reduction, diversity management, leadership and governance and cultural competency.  Attended by hospital and health system executives, leading diversity practictioners, human resources managers/directors and information technology professionals, the symposium featured best practice sharing through a lively roundtable discussion and expert panelists from Texas Health Presbyterian Dallas, ICON Hospital and Christiana Care Health System.


Symposium Objectives:

  • Learn diversity initiatives and how they can be drivers for change and positive outcomes in patient experiences
  • Discover ways to demonstrate tangible commitment to diversity in business terms
  • Explore successful models/case studies and proven diversity strategies
