Hotel and Travel Information

The Loews Vanderbilt Hotel is now sold out.

Please contact A Room With A View for information on the designated Institute overflow hotel. They will secure the lowest available rates at hotels within walking distance of the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel. In the event that rooms become available at the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel due to cancellations, A Room With A View will notify conference attendees and help transfer reservations back to the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel in the order in which they were booked.  A Room With A View can be reached at 1-800-780-4343. Travel Discounts

The Institute for Diversity in Health Management is offering special meeting discounts for all attendees of the 2012 Leadership and Education Conference.  Simply call (or have your travel agent call) one of our preferred airlines directly to receive these special fares.


To receive special fares on American Airlines, contact the AA Meeting Services Desk at 1-800-433-1790 for assistance with reservations and ticket purchase and mention promotion code 1762BS. You may also go to www.aa.com and input the promo code to obtain the discounted fare.


For Delta Airlines reservations and ticketing please call Delta Meeting Network reservations at 1-800-328-1111, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Central Time. Refer to Meeting Code NY2D3.  You may also go to www.delta.com and input the Meeting Code into the Meeting Event code box to obtain the discounted fare and avoid any service fees.


For United Airlines ticketing please call their Special Meeting Desk at 1-800-521-4041 and refer to Meeting ID Number 500CJ to receive a 2 - 15% discount off applicable fares, including First Class.
