For more than a decade the nation has been at war and engaged in an unprecedented number of combat deployments. With service members, veterans and their families representing more than 1/3 of the U.S. population, including approximately 5 million who live in rural areas, the discussion regarding health care disparities, population health and equitable care has become even more critical. Join this roundtable to understand how to enable providers, support services personnel, health care facilities and rural communities to deliver superior quality and standard of care, and envision how collaboration, training and education can contribute to reducing health care disparities among veterans.
