IFD's President and CEO Tomas Leon Named to 2016 Top 100 Under 50 List

August 1, 2016

Congratulations are in order to Tomás Leon, president and CEO of the AHA’s Institute for Diversity in Health Management (IFD).

Tomás has been selected to the Diversity MBA magazine’s list of Top 100 under 50 Diverse Executive Leaders list for 2016. Now in its 10th year, Diversity MBA’s Top 100 list is a strategic leadership recognition that exemplifies higher education, workplace inclusion and community commitment.

Nominees come from across the spectrum of enterprise, including Fortune 500 companies, entrepreneurs, universities and colleges, and governmental and nonprofit agencies. The selection process is quite rigorous as approximately 85 percent of nominees qualify. Honorees are then chosen by a select panel of judges, with no repeats from previous years.

“This year’s 100 honorees are a unique group because they are a part of the exclusive 1,000 honorees recognized for leadership over the past decade. Diversity MBA is also celebrating 10 years of diversity achievement,” says Diversity MBA CEO and publisher Pamela McElvane.

The recipients will receive their awards at Diversity MBA’s Annual Business Leaders Conference & Awards Gala, which will be held Sept. 14-15 at the Sheraton Hotel in Lisle, IL.
