Western Michigan University’s Department of Comparative Religion, in collaboration with WMU's Extended University Programs and College of Health and Human Services, is pleased to present a free lecture and webinar, “Spirituality and Health: The Foundations of Compassionate Care” on Thursday, April 3 from 3-4 p.m. CT. 


Featuring Dr. Christina Puchalski, founder and director of the George Washington University Institute for Spirituality and Health, Dr. Puchalski’s lecture will address spiritual assessment and care, why it is important to patients and health care professionals, and the ways spirituality impacts palliative and end of life care.
