Cathy L Brock Memorial Scholarship
The Cathy L. Brock Memorial Scholarship recognizes graduate student leaders, who represent ethnically diverse cultural backgrounds, and is named in memory of Cathy L. Brock, Director of Operations for the American Hospital Association's (AHA) Health Research and Educational Trust. Ms. Brock was dedicated to the Institute's mission of increasing the number of racial and ethnic minorities entering and advancing in the field of health care management. She served as the Institute's Director of Finance from its inception in 1994 and provided leadership to the Institute's development through her work at HRET. More than a professional interest, this work was a personal passion for her.
To be eligible for the Cathy L. Brock Memorial Scholarship, you must...
- Be a naturalized US citizen.
- Be currently enrolled in an MHA or comparable program. (ie. MBA, MPH, MHA, MPA, MSN or BSN).
- Maintain a 3.0 GPA.
- Demonstrate a financial need.
- Demonstrate an interest or commitment to a career in healthcare finance.
