Offer a Scholarship

You can also put your organization in the forefront of efforts to change the face of leadership in health services management by offering a scholarship through the Institute for Diversity in Health Management.
The Institute currently partners with several progressive organizations and individuals to offer financial assistance to diverse students in health administration:
-
Cathy Brock & Elliott C. Roberts Sr. Scholarships, awarded to graduate students
- Transamerica Retirement Solutions Leaders in Healthcare Scholarship, awarded to graduate students
You, too, can endow a scholarship. It is an investment that will reap benefits for the recipients, your organization, and the future of health care.
The Institute also offers an immersive 10 - 12 week paid internship within hospitals, called the Summer Enrichment Program. If your organization currently does not offer an internship, or if you do offer these programs and want to learn how to recruit more diverse participants, please contact Education Specialist, Chris O. Biddle using the information below.
For more information about any of these programs, please contact Chris O. Biddle, Education Specialist at cbiddle@aha.org or at (312)-422-2658.
